You’ve heard about our free weekly home improvement workshops. You may have even taken your little one to one of our free monthly Kids Workshops. Well guess what ladies … we’ve got something just for you too! The Home Depot also offers free Do-It-Herself workshops where our pros will take you step-by-step through a variety of home improvement projects in a ladies-only, female-friendly environment. You’ll leave each workshop feeling comfortable that you can tackle any repair or improvement on your own.
This Thursday, November 10, 2011, visit your local Home Depot store to learn how to create fun, unique projects with Martha Stewart Living Project Paints. From metallic paints and glazes for a shiny gloss, glitter paint for shimmer, or terra cotta and crackle paint for texture, you’ll leave this workshop with tons of new painting ideas and the knowledge to put them into action. You’ll also have the opportunity to decorate and take home a frame and tile coaster using MSL Project Paints and stencils. I attended the Do It Herself night at our local store. I had Kyle as the instructor. The weather was terrible and as such I was the only student who showed up. That did not stop Kyle! He held the class anyway and I learned a ton about the products and textures for painting etc. He even gave me some pointers on caulking since I mentioned a project I was working on at home.
I left the store armed with lots of great information (and shopped for some great stuff too!) but more importantly I left the store that night excited about the next class! Cant wait!
