This weekend, Aug. 11 and 12, 2012, Massachusetts residents get to celebrate with sales tax exemption on personal property that costs less than $2,500.

But, as we all know, the more expensive the item, the higher the sales tax. Wanted to take advantage of tax free weekend, but of course there were no heating pellets in stock. This is so typical of the store in Pittsfield, MA. I can’t tell you how many times I have gone there and not found what I wanted in stock.
Order online pickup in store, no tax as long as its paid for this weekend.
