Here’s a great project for anyone looking for unique lighting ideas for an porch, deck or any outdoor space. Christine from The Home Depot Community has a terrific outdoor chandelier project that’s fun and easy to make.

This outdoor chandelier DIY project is pretty simple. All you need is a coco planter basket, jelly jars, LED candles and twine. This short video shows you exactly how to make the chandelier.

To make it you simply turn the coco basket upside down, and attach candle-lit jelly jars at varying lengths around the basket with twine. Then hang your new outdoor chandelier in a nice spot for all to see and admire. The real beauty of this easy little DIY lighting project is that you can complete it in no time, and then bask in the glow of your accomplishment. It makes a delightful accent for your back deck or backyard, too.

When you’ve completed this craft project and hung it in your back yard or on your porch, send us a photo! We’d love to see your handiwork. Post it to our I Did This page on our online How-To Community Forums.
