An inspiration board exploring different styles of mirrors

Mirrors are a great way to create a focal point anywhere in your home. They can be used in a foyer to make a dramatic statement, over the mantel to draw the eye in, or in a powder room as a style maker. No matter where you are looking to place a mirror in your home, there are dozens of options to perfectly suit your taste. Here, we rounded up just a few of our favorites.

SUNBURST MIRRORS (LEFT TO RIGHT):

With its classic French styling, this wooden sunburst mirror brings a glamorous, high-end look to any room.

If you’re looking for an option that has a bit more weight, say something to balance out a bulky fireplace, the Home Decorators Collection Straus Round Mirror is elegant and unfussy, despite its dark color and large size.

For a more modern, edgy sunburst mirror, this Home Decorators Collection sunburst mirror brings sleekness to the traditional sunburst.

GEOMETRIC MIRRORS (LEFT TO RIGHT):

The Home Decorators Collection Jillian Mirror features a tin frame with a distressed finish, the perfect complement to a vintage-inspired room!

The knotted angles of the Interchange Wall Mirror brings an art deco allure to this.

If you’d rather keep things simpler, what about an octagonal-shaped mirror with a clean tortoise shell finish like the Alpine & Art Shore Collection Mirror?

TALL & THIN MIRRORS (LEFT TO RIGHT):

With its structural, French-inspired shape, the Avignon mirror (inspired by the French town on the Mediterranean) would make a perfect accent in any space.

The Global Direct Decorative Metal Framed Mirror has a hammered metal frame that gives this mirror a more industrial, modern feel.

For a more glamorous look, how about a Venetian-style mirror? The Studio Arts Venetian Queen Mirror is one of our favorites!

ROUND TOP MIRRORS (LEFT TO RIGHT):

We love the way a mirror with a rounded top creates the look of a stained glass window or arched window. This classic architectural shape looks lovely over a large buffet or console table, mantel, or even over a headboard.

The Home Decorators Collection Cathedral Mirror has a natural wood finish with a bit of distressing.

The French Arch Mirror has a touch of green in the frame with a more simple shape.

The Home Decorators Collection Elise Mirror has a  design with scalloped panels and a distressed off-white finish.
