In our 2012 edition of the Holiday Style Guide, we asked our readers to submit photos showing off their holiday decorations for our Best Holiday on Display contest. To enter for a chance to win a $1,000 Home Depot Gift Card, readers tagged their Instagram photos using the hashtag #HomeDepotStyleGuide2012. We received tons of fantastic entries that were full of festive cheer. Here are a few of the favorites!

Pamela Stephens of PB&J Stories took up our Holiday Style Challenge, and she came through with a fabulous Christmas front door that looks great from the street or up close. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! It’s all I can say every time I drive up to our home now that I’ve begun the festive mood and decorated our outdoors for the holiday season.

When The Home Depot asked if I wanted to be a part of their 2012 Style Challenge for the Holiday season, I knew right away Challenge Accepted! I LOVE decorating for Christmas, and this is by far my favorite outdoor set up I’ve ever done. I knew right away I wanted a rustic outdoor scheme. I wanted to really bring nature into my décor pieces and have that homey-rustic feel. I added in hints of reds, white, and greens for the color scheme to have a “natural” holiday feel.
