Posted by: on June 26th, 2012 | Make A Comment

During summer months, cooling bills can skyrocket. Ceiling fans are a great way, however, to cut back your reliance on your air conditioner. By using an EnergyStar rated ceiling fan, you can reduce the cost of your energy bill by up to 15 percent. Be sure to select the right size ceiling fan for your room, and remember to anchor your fan to a ceiling joist whenever possible.

Don’t forget that ceiling fans aren’t only helpful during warm months. When temperatures start dropping, switch your fans so the blades draw cold air up, leaving your room much warmer.
