A Christmas centerpiece decorates a coffee table

One of my favorite ways to dress my home for the holidays is to add in fresh greenery wherever I can. Of course that means putting up a Christmas tree, hanging wreaths wherever possible, and planting paper white bulbs that bloom throughout December. For something fresh this year, I decided to create a snowy tableau on my coffee table using a wreath, faux snow, and candles. If you don’t want to dress up your coffee table, this would make a lovely Christmas centerpiece for a dining room table, kitchen island, or even a console table!

Succulents are a popular plant because of their structural shape, lovely sage green color, and easy maintenance. Gardening guru Whitney Curtis, the lady behind the blog The Curtis Casa, shows us how to make a succulent wreath that really lives! It’s a perfect centerpiece for your holiday table setting and will last long after the festivities are over.

To incorporate succulents into my holiday décor this year, I really wanted to make a succulent wreath. Posted by: on November 29th, 2012 | Make A Comment

Christmas wreaths are a simple yet beautiful way to spread the holiday spirit all throughout the house, indoors and out. In addition to decorating doors and windows, wreaths look wonderful over the mantel, lying on a tabletop, and we’ve even seen a few hanging from chandeliers.

In this video Martha Stewart and Hannah Millman show you how to create your own signature wreath using ornaments from Martha’s Arctic collection. The Arctic ornaments come in shades of blue and silver with shiny, matte and glitter finishes. You’ll also find snowflake, polar bear, penguin and icicle ornaments sprinkled into this wintry mix.

This is a great little holiday craft project that requires little more than Christmas wreaths, some thin-gauge hobby wire and a few of your favorite Martha Stewart Living Christmas ornaments.
